Before any excuse there is fear

Has it ever happened to want to do something new, like starting up a sport or a musical instrument or just to go somewhere you have never been before but having something in your mind not letting you go with confidence …?

It has happends to lots of people I’ve met. One person wanted to start up playing soccer but because there were clouds before leaving, he thought it would be better to stay in. It didn’t rain… the next time he was going to find another excuse but I was there so his excuses couldn’t stand…

What I mean is that people always try to find excuses not to do something they actually want to. That could be because they have a fear - if they always wanted to do something why have they never done it before - or just because they are plain lazy…

So, don’t try to find excuses, go for it and you will always be rewarded in one way or another. You can do it!

Steps to follow if confused in life

Are you confused with your life ? More or less we sometimes feel confused with our lives. We don’t know what to do, what to expect, we have no idea of what the future it going to bring… Wrong! The future is going to bring what you are asking for. If you are asking for happyness and money you will get it as soon as you try and focus on it.

Here are some simple things to follow when confused:

Sit down
Take three deep relaxing breaths - it’s a good idea to have your eyes closed.
Imagine… think of your future, where and how would you like to be in 20 years from now… being rich, in an island with your family, having a successful company ? You choose. These are now your goals.
Think of logical ways of how to achieve these goals. These also become your goals.
Open your eyes, write your goals down as they are already a reality.
Choose some of them, the most important, if you have lots.
Repeat them out loud with confidence.

By now you have set your goals, congratulations! You already belong to those with a potential to become successful. In order to achieve them though you have to repeat step seven every day if possible or every second day (a good idea is to write them on postit papers and stick them around your room/house).
It’s a good idea to repeat all these steps after some time (could be 4 weeks depending on the goal) in order to check this is still what you really want.
and Always remember… You can do it!

Big words, small minds…

Have you ever dreamed of a better life ? maybe more independence, a house, travelling around the world without thinking about money or maybe having your own business ? Well, most have and most will never ever make them a reality… and you know why ? Because it’s all words!

Imagine yourself with a friend, walking down the street, while you pass from a lottery… "What would you do if you won the lottery ?" you ask him. You know the answer, more or less all of us have asked or being asked that question several times. Does it actually help ? Not really, I’d say. People do this to find an excuse. They don’t want to work hard or put their mind into working conditions, which means to actually think of their future. I am getting annoyed listening or being told by people… "How great would it be if x….". My answer to them is something like, "Make your dreams a reality, you can do it, you just need to try, otherwise you will be unhappy for the rest of your life and there will be no excuse to give to yourself when you turn 90 years old".

So go ahead and make your dreams a reality NOW!
